My Story
I joined Scentsy in May 2011 and had no idea what sort of adventure I was getting myself into! I first experienced Scentsy at a community event where several ladies had set up a Scentsy booth. I LOVE anything and everything that smells good, so I was intrigued by the idea of wickless candles. Shortly after, I was introduced to my team, through whom I hosted my first scent event.. and from that point on, I was hooked! I love the unique scents, the products, the company, and the endless opportunities that Scentsy opens up. Several days later, I joined Scentsy and became a Consultant, and it's been an amazing journey ever since!
In 2012, I moved to Pomona, California for college and then to Orange County, California where I started my career in HR. During this time, Scentsy was more of a hobby that allowed me to enjoy the consultant perks, while sharing with friends and family. After moving to the Seattle area in the summer of 2021 with my husband, Chris, and our cat, Biscotti, I made a BIG decision to completely change my career, went back to school, and got my Elementary Teaching Certification. I currently work as a substitute teacher, and we're expecting our first baby SOON! With the addition and help of Scentsy, we’re able to stay financially stable, which allows me to work as many or as few hours as I need and have more free time when I need. I love having extra time to do the things that I love, like reading, gardening, going to Disneyland, playing DnD, exploring lots of different places around WA, and spending time with our family and friends.
It sounds cliche, but Scentsy truly has been life-changing, in so many ways. It’s given me more confidence than I’ve ever had, we’ve met so many amazing people and have developed forever friendships, and have been able to travel more than we ever imagined.
